You feel it the moment you spot it: a massive volcanic stone building that looks like it belongs in an adventure movie. And that’s no accident. Diego Rivera designed it to house his huge collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts, though sadly, he passed away before it was completed. Still, his legacy lives on—the collection was donated to the people of Mexico, just as he wished.   📍 Built with rock from the Xitle volcano, the museum isn’t just a museum—it’s got gardens, a cozy café, temporary exhibition halls, and cultural activities.
