In the heights, Bellini, Revolving Restaurant

This is a special restaurant, for some time it was known for being the largest revolving restaurant in the world, I guess it is not anymore but it is still big and still has a spectacular view on a clear day.

The attraction begins when you get on the high-speed elevator to reach the 45th floor, the tables are arranged so you can see the large windows from any spot.

The movement is very slow, almost imperceptible, because they do not want to make diners dizzy, you know that you are moving because the bathroom and the piano change places every time you want to visit them, this because, the bathroom, kitchen and music are in "the backbone" of the building itself, and this part isn´t rotationg.  As you move you´ll be able to recognize different points of the city. The complete turn requires 45 minutes so in a normal stay, you will have turned completely about 3 times.

If you look closely at this photograph, between the music area and the corridor on the left you can see a slit, that is the separation between the fixed area and the mobile area.

The place is expensive, I guess the maintenance of a rotating system like this must be very expensive but the food is really good and its dishes are decorated very nice.

Recommendations:

Book, the place is big, but it gets crowded especially on special dates, if you arrive without reservation but there is place, that might be good luck, but it is always a good idea to arrive with a reservation.

Preferably choose to arrive with daylight and on a clear day, on rainy days you will not see much of the view.
